Patio Paradise at Smack DAB this Fall

Dona Sturmanis · August 27, 2015 ·

You’ll want to continue experiencing Smack DAB’s spectacular 150-seat patio at Manteo Resort in Kelowna through September and October, weather permitting. It’s so close to Okanagan Lake, you could be swimming. Besides enjoying the spectacular view, what you really want to be doing at Smack DAB is savouring the fabulous food and the vast range of craft beers, wines and cocktails.

“Executive Chef Brad Horen and Executive Sous Chef Marc Schoene are very proud of the kitchen team and the consistent food they prepare and serve each and every day,” says GM Heather Schroeter. “It is very hard work and we have the best team in Kelowna!” Smack DAB menu items can be described as new style classics with big, bold flavours. Everything is made fresh in house, including all desserts. Guests can watch for seasonal food and beverage features starting in mid October. The breakfast buffet starts at 7 am and the all-day menu begins at 11 am.

Regarding liquid refreshment, you’ll find craft beers celebrating BC and Pacific Northwest producers—12 on tap and 20 by the bottle. You’ll also find some fine BC wines, ciders and handcrafted cocktails (all are doubles!). If you can’t decide on the beer or wine you want, you can always order a flight for sampling.

The private dining room, or The View Room, as it’s known, is always super busy so if you’re planning a special event, you better book early.

Access to Smack DAB is easier than it’s ever been with additional parking spots, bike racks for cyclists and complimentary public moorage for boaters.
