Happy Days and Award-Winning Wines at Corcelettes Estate Winery

Henrietta Poirier · September 8, 2016 ·

Nestled against the rocky backdrop of the Similkameen hills, the Corcelettes boutique winery and vineyard provides visitors with a stunning view of this peaceful and pristine valley, in addition to their equally stunning wines.
Visitors receive a warm welcome at Corcelettes, where winemaker Charlie Baessler and wife Jesce are on hand to share the joys of winemaking, and of course, wine tasting.
This family-owned winery is fast becoming known for their quality wines; winning Silver medals for their flagship wine Mehnir 2014 and their Pinot Noir 2015, as well as a Bronze for their wonderfully delicate, Oracle Rosé.
More significantly, and more recently they won Silver from the Mondial du Chasselas in Switzerland for their unique Chasselas blend, Trivium. It is the first time a Canadian winery has won this prestigious award, placing Corcelettes Estate Winery firmly on the map as quality winemakers.
Winemaker Charlie brings a balanced approach to grape growing and winemaking. Holding a B.Sc. in Environmental Science, he couples his knowledge in science with a love of the land to follow responsible, integrated farming practices, and maintain the equilibrium between man and nature.
Visitors to Corcelettes will not be disappointed. After enjoying the tasting experience they can relax on the patio or try for a hole in one on the mini green. The atmosphere here is fun and friendly, but the wines are serious.
Visit their website at corceletteswine.ca to find out more about the selection of wines and wine club.
