After Hours Tours From Grape Escapes Wine Tours!

Courtney Fossett · September 5, 2012 ·

In the fall, for those lucky enough to live in this marvellous region, thoughts turn once more to all the things we could have seen and done throughout the summer, but didn’t get a chance to.  There’s always next summer.  But wait, Dino at Grape Escapes Wine Tours has the perfect solution: Thank Goodness It’s Fermented!  These are after hours tours run on Friday afternoons from 5pm to 7pm.  They will pick you up from work, take you and your friends to three wineries on the Naramata Bench and get you home in time for dinner.

Thank Goodness It’s Fermented tours are the perfect staff outing or a great kick start to a night on the town.  Dino’s aim is to increase awareness among the local population of the wonders at our very doorsteps. If you’re looking for a tour that is a little more involved, try one of their usual options.  They offer full day and half day tours with light-hearted wine education in mind.  All of their full day tours include lunch, as well as in depth visits to several of the local wineries.  Whether on a full day or a half day tour, your journey will start at the BC VQA Wine Information Centre in Penticton with a quick class on the five S’s of wine tasting: Sight, Sniff, Swirl, Sniff it again, Sip and Savour.  Dino’s goal is to enhance the enjoyment of wine with a little bit of education.

You’ll see some sights, sip some wines and every bottle you bring home will have a story you can share when you get home.  Tours run from January through the end of December, so anytime of the year call 1-877-362-3382 to book your tour.  If you’re calling from the Penticton area, the local number is 250-493-3238.
