More Wine Clubs, Cheese and Bigger Bottles at Discover Wines

Dona Sturmanis · July 3, 2014 ·

Summer is a thriving season at Discover Wines in Kelowna and Kamloops. Since the Kelowna store opened in 2003, it’s been the number one store for VQA sales in British Columbia. The Kamloops location has been very successful since it opened in April of last year as well. Up to 800 wines are featured at any time at both locations, at government liquor store prices.

The Wine Club at Discover Wines continues to grow in popularity. There are now four Clubs people can join: All White, All Red, Half White-Half Red and Super Premium Red.

“People love getting a mixed case of different wines from different BC wineries every two months,” says owner Tracy Gray. “Members also get a full written description of the wines, information about the wineries, food pairing and cellaring suggestions.” Locals can pick up their cases from Kelowna or Kamloops locations, or they can also be shipped.
The award-winning Discover Wines carries a delectable assortment of wine-friendly artisan food products including cheeses. “We’ve expanded our cheese selection to include selections from Upper Bench Winery & Creamery in Naramata and Terroir Cheese from Enderby, which may very well be the newest artisan cheese producer in BC.”

Large bottles (magnums and double magnums) are available at Discover Wines. They will impress your guests at your next summer party! They also make great wedding gifts or auction donations.
