Perfect for the Artful Lodger: Cormier’s of Penticton

Dona Sturmanis · July 3, 2014 ·

One of the top10 internationalart inns selected by bedandbreakfast.com is in Penticton – Cormier’s B & B and Art Studio, owned and operated by artists Lawrence and Kena Cormier.
“We’ve got lots of new bright, bold, colourful paintings,” says Kena. “There are some new still lifes, as I continue with my Vessels & Flowers series, now numbering over 100. And Lawrence has created some ‘Fun in the Vineyard’ winery benches.”
Cormier’s, located five minutes from the Penticton Farmer’s Market, is known for its amazing breakfasts, as well as its luxurious B & B accommodations. “We have many new fresh, tasty additions,” says Kena. “This past spring and winter, I have been experimenting with ‘gluten-free’ and have amassed quite a selection of yummy baked goods.”
Cormier’s offers two rates—with breakfast or without. “For those who prefer to do their own breakfast, or take advantage of our onsite barbecue for their dinner, we’ve created something new and planted little herb gardens for each suite, so guests can enjoy a fine dining experience in their own private space,” says Kena.
“We encourage guests to pick mornings they wish to have breakfast and mornings they don’t. If you know you are planning a yummy winery lunch, then you may want to do your own light breakfast.”
Cormier’s guests have given the unique B&B a five-star rating on tripadvisor.ca. Treat yourself or your guests to a memorable stay at this tasty, artsy, world-renowned inn, located near the heart of Penticton.
