Hillside Winery – the perfect place to host your dream wedding!
Always dreamed of a spectacular wedding in a breathtaking vineyard setting, accompanied by a gourmet, locally inspired dinner and award-winning wines? Hillside Winery is the place for you, with many scenic photo shoot locations around the winery!
Hillside can host your full event schedule – from rehearsal lunches, brunches, dinners or parties to the big event. Special tours and tastings can be arranged to suit the wedding party and guests. (You should make a point of trying out some of their recent medal winners at the All Canadian Wine Championships, such as their 2013 Reserve Pinot Gris, 2013 Gewürztraminer, 2013 Rosé and 2011 Syrah!)
On the big day, the ceremony itself can be held in the courtyard, complete with arbour, potted flowers and wine barrels. Executive Chef Rob Cordonier can help you plan your menu, whether you want a cocktail and wine reception with canapés and selected platters or a creative, contemporary sit-down dinner, including wines specially paired with each course. 65 guests can be accommodated, using indoor or outdoor seating.
To make the occasion truly memorable, consider custom designing your own private label for the special day. A selection of wines from award-winning winemaker Kathy Malone can be chosen, with a minimal charge for unique labels.
Full services are available from preferred vendors, such as: wedding planner, florist, DJ, equipment rental and accommodations. A bridal dressing room is provided on the winery’s third floor, and storage space may be rented. Staff can be provided for all requirements from set-up to food and beverage service to clean up. Music for the reception is allowed until 11 pm, with liquor licensing until midnight. Guest parking is available on-site, but you may want to treat yourself to an arranged shuttle service.
