Go That Extra Mile For Dinner At CedarCreek Estate Winery

Roslyne Buchanan · May 19, 2015 ·

Drive Kelowna’s scenic Lakeshore Wine Route to CedarCreek Estate Winery where you’ll find the team taking that extra mile for you. New at the Vineyard Terrace Restaurant, opening May 15, dinner is now also offered. You can make your reservations online with OpenTable. The delectable farm-to-table cuisine of Executive Chef Jeremy Tucker is available through September 20. Feasting from the seasonally focused menu as you sip the exceptional wines and marvel in the magnificent vistas is a great reason to visit. And that’s not all. Back by popular demand, Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, June 30 to September 1, there’s Sunset Yoga and Wine Reception ($30 plus tax and gratuity). In the gorgeous Vineyard Pavilion, experience an hour-long Yoga class with a certified instructor from Oranj Fitness. Then relax in the wine garden overlooking the vineyard with CedarCreek wine paired with a selection of local charcuteries, salads and fruits from Okanagan farmers. Reserve ahead and bring your mat for yoga suitable for all levels. Mark your calendar to celebrate July 1st at CedarCreek’s Open House from 2 to 6 pm. Admission is free to this Canada Day concert featuring The Middles – covering tunes from the fifties to today. Bring your blanket, enjoy music, sunshine and the food and wine available for purchase. A perennial hit, the TELUS Sunset Concert series is back to the intimate setting of the outdoor Vineyard Pavilion. Be sure to purchase your tickets soon at www.cedarcreek.bc.ca for Emerson Drive ($125) on June 30, and Tom Cochrane & Red Rider ($150) on August 26. Watch www.cedarcreek.bc.ca/events for details on two movie nights to be held under the stars at CedarCreek this season. Anahita Pouget, marketing manager, shared more exciting news, “We are thrilled to announce,” says Anahita, “to add to the many medals garnered at CedarCreek, the 2013 Platinum Chardonnay Block 5 received a Silver at the 22nd annual Chardonnay du Monde. Held in the Burgundy region of France, this international competition attracts the best Chardonnay in the world. Such a high rating is truly an honour for our winemaker Darryl Brooker and our entire team.” The wine shop opens 11 am to 7 pm daily, May to June 30, and extends to 10 am to 7 pm, July 1. Be sure to visit CedarCreek in person this season and you can also stock up on the wines online and in VQA wine stores.
