Pasta Pleasure For The Entire Family At The Italian Table

Roslyne Buchanan · May 26, 2015 ·

At The Italian Table – Kelowna’s slice of Italy – gather the whole family to spend time together and relish in classic favourites from the Nonna- (Italian grandmother) Approved’ menu. Lap up the plates and spare yourself long hours in the kitchen. Order a full-table feast or simply share a Classic Margherita pizza and a bottle of wine. Sunday Supper can be relaxing when you opt for Nonna’s Family Feast. On overflowing platters and bowls served family-style, find fresh bread, a choice of Caesar or house salad or tomato soup, baked meatballs, roasted chicken and potatoes with unlimited Spaghetti Bolognese (adults $21/children 5-12 $11/children under 5 eat for free).
At The Italian Table of The Revival Group of restaurants, owners Jason and Michelle Troll worked closely to develop the food side with Jason Leizert (partner/corporate chef) of the lauded charcuterie-and-cheese shop, Salted Brick. Taste Chef Leizert’s influence in the Antipasto Platter with a selection of cheeses, charcuterie, olives, marinated vegetables and bread and/or the Burrata & Prosciutto Charcuterie Platter with pepper jelly, pesto and flatbread. At The Italian Table, open daily for lunch and dinner, it’s so family friendly, kids can exercise their creativity on the paper tablecloths with the colourful crayons set out as you await your meal. There’s also a kids menu and nice array of desserts. Selected to pair with Italian fare for the “big kids”, you’ll find Okanagan Valley and Italian wines and a creative cocktail list created by award-winning mixologist Gerry Jobe, The Revival Group’s director of operations. How about a Sangria, Caesar Romero, Bella Bellini, Livid Pacino, Stalloni, Frozen Negroni or to finish your evening, a delizioso Affogoto – ice cream with Espresso and Frangelico?
