TasteFull Excursions on the Kamloops Wine Trail

Lorne Eckersley · May 19, 2015 ·

TasteFull Excursions is entering its second year as a transportation service provider specializing in wine tours from a Kamloops base. Kamloops has become BC’s newest wine tour experience and TasteFull Excursions is the first tour company here to promote Kamloops as a wine tourism destination and a gateway to BC wine country.
Vehicle comfort and safety are a high priority so that guests can sit back and enjoy the winery and tasting experience. “More than 800,000 people visit BC wineries annually—at Tastefull Excursions I want people to relax and have fun without the risks of drinking and driving.” Two state of the art 2014 Mercedes Sprinter vans hold 11 passengers each with both vehicles and drivers exceeding the stringent licencing requirements of the BC Passenger Transportation Authority (PT-Licence#72016).
“This season I will be able to offer both half and full day tours of the Kamloops Wine Trail choosing from Harper’s Trail, Privato, Sagewood and Monte Creek Ranch wineries.  I am working closely with the newly formed Kamloops Wineries Association to position Kamloops as an exciting destination for wine tourists looking for something a little different,” says owner Maatje (pronounced Maacha) Stamp-Vincent. Tour packages are also available to the Shuswap, Gold Country, Okanagan Lake Country or further south in the Okanagan.
“I am very proud of what has been accomplished in a short time,” she says. “It’s wonderful to be contacted by excited locals and tourists who want to explore our part of the province to enjoy our wine experience. We’re ready!”
