The View Winery – Every Day Is A Sparkling Day

Lindsay Anders-Kelm · May 26, 2015 ·

At The View Winery we believe that every day is to be celebrated”, says President Jennifer Turton-Molgat. “In keeping with that theme we are proud to offer a line of sparkling wines for any occasion.”
This year, all of The View’s wines received a fresh new look, and the bubbles are no exception. The 2014 Distraction Frizzante ($19.90) is being released in a chic new painted bottle with a traditional cork and cage, replacing the crown cap previously used. The 2014 vintage is dry in style and features a delicious blend of Ehrenfelser, Gewürztraminer and Riesling with a touch of Pinotage.  Aromas of honey blossom and melon are followed by crisp flavours of pink grapefruit, wild strawberry and rhubarb.
In addition to the Frizzante, The View will also be releasing the new vintage of their popular single serve sparkling Bling and Bling Rosé. Both come in an attractive 355ml can and at 7% alc/vol offer a refreshing lower alcohol alternative to traditional bubbly.
The View invites you to celebrate the release of Bling and their 2014 vintage wines at the Bling Fling on Friday, June 5th.  Featuring Juno award winner singer-songwriter Matt Epp, this is going to be one of the social highlights of the summer. Chef Neil Schroeter will delight guests with his inspired food pairings. Doors open 7pm. Tickets are $25 in advance. To purchase, contact The View Winery at 250-860-0742.
