Celebration Time at Tinhorn Creek

Dona Sturmanis · June 18, 2015 ·

Tinhorn Creek Vineyards has good news to share. The Golden Mile sub-appellation—the first new sub-appellation in the Okanagan Valley—has been approved and will now appear on the labels of wines from 11 wineries in The Golden Mile, including Tinhorn Creek.
To celebrate this, as well as the Spring Wine Festival, Tinhorn is releasing its new wines: Pinot Gris 2014, Oldfield Series Rosé 2014 and Gewürztraminer 2014.
Tinhorn Creek will be heralding late spring and summer with a plethora of events. Not to be missed are their outdoor concerts; coming up May 23rd is Rich Hope & His Blue Ridge Rangers and the John Welsh Band June 27th ($30 per concert per person).
For the Spring Wine Festival, Tinhorn Creek is hosting the Hops, Grapes and Grub Dinner, May 1st at Miradoro Restaurant. Beer from Cannery Brewing and Tinhorn Creek’s wine will be paired with a three-course dinner. Tickets are $75 all inclusive.
Also at Miradoro, their fabulous Communal Table Dinners will take place every Tuesday night throughout May. The Communal Table brings together locals and visitors to celebrate regional food and wine for a three-course meal, featuring local, seasonal fare served family style on long tables. Dinners begin at 6:30 pm and tickets are $30 per person.
June 20th, their first ever Paella Picnic takes place at 6:30 pm. Bring a blanket, sit back in the amphitheatre and be inspired by four local chefs, including Chef Jeff Van Geest of Miradoro, as they prepare their favorite paella dishes for a picnic style feast. Tickets are $75.
