New Terrafina Sous Chef From The Land Down Under

Roslyne Buchanan · June 11, 2015 ·

Hailing from the Land Down Under, Tatiana Brown is bringing a new spin to Terrafina as she joins the culinary team as sous chef. “Chef Jenna Pillon, Hester Creek and I are excited to welcome Tatiana and look forward to showing her all the greatness that this Valley has to offer,” says Terrafina owner April Goldade. Since her arrival from Sydney, Australia, Tatiana has worked at the Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa in Gold Bridge, BC. “She came to Canada to explore our culinary culture and showcase the expertise she gained in many high-end restaurants throughout Australia and the United Kingdom,” says April.
With the culinary team complete, Terrafina is fully equipped to customize intimate events at its charming setting on the Golden Mile Bench at Oliver. Reserve your private group dinner amid Old World ambiance in the restaurant, or gather in either the winery with up to twelve people or in the vineyard with eight. If you prefer an interactive and educational session, consider a demonstration dinner where you’ll learn more about the Italian-influenced menu that reaps the benefits of Okanagan gardens, orchards and vineyards. Chef Jenna will create seasonal menus for these special venues showcasing the bounty of the region and its local producers. For more information on the packages, visit www.terrafinarestaurant.com or email April at info@terrafinarestaurant.com
As of May 4th, Terrafina is open seven days a week. Check the website for the latest information on special occasions such as the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day brunches and watch for Terrafina at collaborative events such as the Similkameen BBQ King at the Grist Mill and Gardens in Keremeos.
