4 Reasons Why Visiting Tinhorn Creek Vineyards Is A Summer Must

Laura Lushington · July 2, 2015 ·

Producing some of the southern Okanagan’s most sustainable and high quality wines is what Tinhorn Creek Vineyards is known for. This summer, however, why not try these unique ways to enjoy a day or evening at this Golden Mile staple.
1) The Canadian Concert Series
As the Southern Okanagan’s top summer music event, the Canadian Concert Series is a perfect way to enjoy a view of the valley and rock along to up and coming bands. On July 25th, Reuben & The Dark bring lyrically emotional folk and soul music to the winery’s 400-seat amphitheatre. The series continues on August 22nd with Yukon Blonde and songs from their newly released album. Closing the series on September 12th will be Canadian-favourite The Trews. Tickets are on sale now.
2) Miradoro Restaurant
The award-winning Miradoro Restaurant recently added another accolade to its lengthy list when Vancouver Magazine named it the Okanagan’s Best Winery Restaurant for the fourth year in a row. The restaurant’s creative, sustainable and local food, topped with impeccable service and stunning panoramic vineyard views leave you no reason not to make a lunch or dinner reservation.
3) Yoga in the Vineyard
Get ready to practice your warrior pose! New to Tinhorn Creek, wake up and get your stretch on with Saturday morning yoga in the amphitheatre. Class starts at 9:30am. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 for a day of drop-in.
4) Dine & Dance
Combine dance lessons with a three-course gourmet meal prepared by Miradoro Restaurant for an evening to remember. Dine & Dance takes place on July 17th and August 14th. Tickets ($95) are on sale now.
