Celebrate The Height Of Summer At Poplar Grove Winery

Dona Sturmanis · July 13, 2015 ·

Prime time at Poplar Grove is summertime when the winery is frequented by local visitors from across Canada and from around the world. This stunning winery with a panoramic view is located in the heart of Okanagan wine country on the beautiful Naramata Bench. It’s the season to celebrate Poplar Grove’s award-winning wines and experience its hospitality. Year round, the winery’s spectacular tasting room is open daily from 10am to 5pm with extended hours in July and August daily from 10am to 9pm. Treat yourself to Chef Bruno Terroso’s delectable fresh cuisine for dinner from the acclaimed onsite restaurant, The Vanilla Pod, and then stay for a late night tasting of Poplar Grove’s signature wines.

Visit the tasting room where Poplar Grove Blanc de Noirs is available for a limited time. Here, you’ll also discover Poplar Grove Cabernet Franc 2012 released June 1st that recently won a Gold at the Los Angeles International Wine Awards.

Poplar Grove Winery has done something fun this summer by installing a 24/7 webcam that captures the view from the patio.

Visit the link http://www.poplargrove.ca/Our-Story/View-Cam on any device at any time to see what is happening at the winery. While visiting Poplar Grove, have your friends view the cam and wave a quick hello!

The award-winning Vanilla Pod Restaurant serves lunch and dinner all summer long and now brunch on Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm, which is very exciting for weekend visitors. Owners Paul and Sheila Jones love meeting new people and ensuring their dining experience exceeds their expectations.

The Poplar Grove Annual Wine Club Party is happening on July 4th. Wine Club members are invited to the winery to enjoy Poplar Grove wines specially paired with culinary delights from the Vanilla Pod Restaurant while dancing the evening away under the Okanagan sunset. Such events are just one of the privileges you get when you join the Wine Club. You also receive world-class wine delivered to your door step three times a year, a 10% discount off direct winery wine purchases, preferred access to exclusive wines and much more.
