Eat & Drink Your Way Around Town With Vancouver Food Tour

Cassandra Anderton · July 2, 2015 ·

If you consider yourself a foodie you probably do quite a bit of research when planning a night out or a visit to another city and know exactly what and where you will eat each day. However, with the increasing trend of organized food tours, you can now leave the planning to the tour company and you can relax and let your guide orchestrate the night.
Vancouver Food Tour, Vancouver’s original food tour, operates craft beer tours through Gastown as well as food excursions through both Chinatown and Gastown, and customized tours too. Guests,  even those who know the city well, are constantly remarking that the tours have uncovered Vancouver’s hidden gems, both in terms of where they actually dine that night and as a result of chatting with the guides. The tour guides are all professional chefs, food writers or craft beer experts, and can give tips on newly opened venues or restaurants off the beaten track.
The newest tour, Modern Chinatown, includes a brief history of Chinatown and then a tasting through the newer restaurants that now call the area home. There’s no dim sum or chow mein on this tour– instead it’s all about German sausages, Southern cuisine and perhaps some Jamaican food, as the area is now home to very diverse cuisine. Tour spots vary and can be customized for your group.
If you’ve got a corporate event, big or small, Vancouver Food Tour can work with you and your budget to plan an unforgettable evening for your group. Many stags and stagettes book their night out with Vancouver Food Tour, as the variety of stops on the trip offer something for everyone.
