Smack DAB At Manteo Resort… A Waterfront Wonder

Deanna Rainey · July 23, 2015 ·

Smack DAB restaurant and patio at Manteo Resort is firmly established as one of the greats.  Outdoor dining, sipping on a locally-concocted drink or enjoying the sweet caress of a fine wine…the magic in the atmosphere seems to make everything just right.

It has also become easier to get to and settle in, with the advent of a public moorage for boaters, plenty of bike racks for cyclists and even additional parking spots.

Whether you choose the indoor restaurant or outdoor patio, you’ll discover Smack DAB’s commitment to fine local wines and some of BC’s best craft beers. On offer are six Okanagan white wines by the glass and six reds. Can’t decide? Try a tasting flight of five whites or reds for only $13.00.

Beer enthusiasts couldn’t find a better place to enjoy the summer sun. Smack DAB’s extensive craft beer list features some of the best of BC, and they also offer BC Ciders. Two guest taps showcase “hard to get, crazy good craft beers.”

The great tastes don’t end there. All handcrafted cocktails are doubles, at just $9.00.  From their signature gin and tonic (proclaimed as no doubt the best G&T you will ever have!) to Watermelon Smash, the Blue Margarita or the Smack DAB Red Sangria, local ingredients are used wherever possible.

Smack DAB’s menu is filled with delectable snacks, tapas and full meals…all created with a unique twist. The breakfast buffet is available from 7:00 am to 10:30 am and the all-day menu begins at 11:00 am.  Drinks are served until midnight.  Smack DAB’s alluring food, drinks and waterfront atmosphere are perfect for creating summer memories.
