The Art Of Food And Wine Lives At Liquidity

Contributor · July 10, 2015 ·

Liquidity Winery was launched with the vision of supporting and raising the profile of local vineyards and to encourage visitors to Okanagan Falls. The winery offers visitors the added attraction of a contemporary art collection and in addition to the winery, Liquidity Bistro offers visitors elegant dining with a locally focused philosophy.
Dave Keeler of Vintage Hospitality manages the Bistro, where they put the philosophy of the winery into practice by working closely with the local farmers and wineries. They offer an exciting menu guaranteed to delight foodies and feature the wines of Liquidity with an impressive stock of wines from the surrounding wineries of Okanagan Falls.
The mandate of the Bistro is to represent the food producers and wine producers of the region. The mission is to enhance the experience of the area by offering a seasonal menu that reflects the terroir of Okanagan Falls.
Providing the best and freshest of local produce, Liquidity executive chef Rob Walker lets the season’s produce inspire the menu, creating unique feasts of natural duck breast with rutabaga onion puree, or a surprisingly delicate verde risotto.   In fact, the menu may be designed around the finest looking produce in the chef’s on-site garden, or what the local farmer brings to the table that day, it could be locally sourced wild mushrooms or Okanagan sun-sweetened corn. And of course, the local wines add to the culinary inspiration.
The vision of Liquidity Winery and Bistro is to establish Okanagan Falls as a destination, and with a feast of wine, food and art on offer why wouldn’t you want to visit?
