DeLong Studio: Crafting Collectible Jewelry For 25 years

Roslyne Buchanan · August 31, 2015 ·

Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind keepsake to commemorate your tour of the Okanagan or are seeking a special gift that’ll stand the test of time, the team at DeLong Studio can help. You are made to feel right at home as you browse the extensive selection thanks to charismatic Owner John DeLong, Manager Sue May and all of the staff. The approach is entirely up to you: If you prefer to let the fine pieces speak to you, take your time. If you have something specific in mind, don’t hesitate to ask.

DeLong Studio specializes in hand-crafted, original sterling silver jewelry and custom-cut semi-precious stones and offers a large selection of fine mineral specimens. The lapidary work is mostly produced in-house and custom set into DeLong designs. With work fabricated in-house and some other pieces created by an international team of artisans such as silversmiths and leather craftspeople, you’ll be dazzled by the rings, chains and necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, cufflinks, gemstone knives and corkscrews, scarves, leather accessories, and watercolour art cards. To mark the celebration of its 25th year, DeLong Studio is featuring many fine items in sales throughout the 2015 season.

The DeLong Studio is a jewel itself tucked into a garden setting in the Trout Creek area of Summerland just off Highway 97. You’ll find it open daily, 10 am to 5 pm, April 1 until Christmas. Or shop online at www.delongstudio.com where shipping is available worldwide. At the Penticton VQA Wine Shop, a selection of DeLong jewelry is offered year round. During wine-touring season, you’ll also discover some fine DeLong items at Thornhaven Estates Winery and 8th Generation Vineyard.
