Dining At Terrafina Transitions From Summer To Autumn

Roslyne Buchanan · September 3, 2015 ·

As autumn tones tint the vineyards, Okanagan crowds thin out and explore at a more leisurely pace. At Terrafina Restaurant, you can still savour the Summer Menu until mid-September and watch evidence of fall’s harvest as the fresh ingredients of local growers and producers shift. There’s still time to enjoy Terra Unica wines by Hester Creek Estate Winery that are only available in the restaurant, or at home if you’re a subscribed loyalty member of Hester Creek’s Bench Club. Thoughts turn to the Fall Wine Festival and events back by popular demand. Terrafina owner April Goldade enthusiastically recommends the Garlic Festival, 11 am to 5 pm, Saturday, October 3rd at Hester Creek. She notes, “It has a great feel as an awesome family-friendly day. Local growers, vendors and entertainers come together to celebrate all things garlic and support the Oliver Elementary School’s lunch program”. (This summer, Terrafina again participated in Summerdine, a fundraising initiative of Les Dames d ‘Escoffier – BC Chapter.) For the Fall Wine Festival, the five-course wine-paired, Tuscan dinner is back October 10th. It is staged family-style at a communal table with live acoustic music by a local artist. Seats are available at the restaurant, call 250-498-2229 or email info@terrafinarestaurant.com

Open seven days a week through October, celebrate your special occasion with an Italian-influenced, farm-to-table menu in this Tuscan-like setting on the gorgeous Golden Mile of Oliver. Reserve your intimate private group dinner in Terrafina restaurant’s Old World warm ambiance. Gather in the vineyard with up to eight people, in the elegant winery with up to 12, or in the barrel room with 25. For more information, visit www.terrafinarestaurant.com or email April at: info@terrafinarestaurant.com
