Seafood Celebrations At Dirty Laundry Winery

Cassandra Anderton · March 2, 2016 ·

One of the first wineries to open on Bottleneck Drive, Dirty Laundry Winery continues to expand, increasing offerings each year. The winery recently launched their Bordello Wine Club, with five levels of membership to choose, ranging from whether you want all of their releases, or just a select few. Unlike most other clubs, members can pick the wines they would prefer, and their choices determine recommendations for the future. Members enjoy free shipping, access to exclusive releases, 10% off shopping online and 10% off instore purchases. Sign up online or at the wine shop when you stop in to try their upcoming spring releases.

This season Dirty Laundry is seafood-focused in their celebrations. On May 7th during the Okanagan Spring Wine Festival, the winery is hosting a Spring Patio Lobster Party at 6 pm. Lobster will be flown in fresh and cooked right out on the patio. There will be entertainment and of course, lobster-friendly wine pairings all for just $95 + tax.

Saturday and Sundays starting June 25th there is live entertainment at the winery from 1-4 pm. Local favourites are returning and the schedule will be up shortly on the winery’s website. Every Friday starting July 1st, with reservations, join the winery for their lobster lunch from 12-2 pm for just $34.95, and the “build your own picnic basket” offering is available as well. Plates, napkins and cutlery are provided and guests then shop the food selection choosing meats, cheeses, paté, bread, crackers and sandwiches to fill in. Throw in a bottle of wine, and a lunch for four can be had for around $85.

The 100 seat patio has always filled up quickly on warm days, but they are expanding the patio this year to accommodate more guests.
