The Good Times Live On At Legend Distilling

Henrietta Poirier · March 2, 2016 ·

Follow the winding wine trail down the Upper Naramata Bench and you’ll find a warm welcome at the end of the road. Legend Distillery offers visitors a break from a hard day’s wine tasting in a beautifully comfortable location where they can perk up the palate with a refreshing cocktail infused with revitalizing botanicals.

Owners, designers and distillers, Dawn and Doug Lennie, partners in love, life and liquor, established the craft distillery with a vision of creating more than just a space; this is a destination where visitors and locals can kick back, relax and enjoy a cocktail or three.

The finely crafted liquor is infused with locally sourced herbs. Pots of rosemary, lavender and sage lie between the sleek stainless steel and copper stills waiting to be instilled into the next batch of legendary gin…or vodka…or whisky, whatever your prescription for a happy hour may be.

The menu offers wine, beer, savory snacks and legendary libations. Feeling cheeky? try the Dirty Bee with rosemary smoked gin. Need a kick in the pants? Have a Moscow Mule! Are you a traditionalist with a twist? Then a Doctor’s Gin and Tonic infused with locally foraged juniper berries, coriander and citrus, may be the remedy for you!

If you are looking for something to do or somewhere new to go, this location is one to mark on the map.  Check out the website at legenddistilling.com to find out about the foot stomping, freewheeling, fine feeling, live music evenings, coming soon.
