Adega On 45th Expands Distribution

Luke Whittall · May 4, 2016 ·

Adega on 45th is now expanding into the Vancouver market. Owners Fred and Pamala Farinha, and Alex and Maria Nunes, are always having a lot of fun at their small, boutique winery with a spectacular tasting room and patio in Osoyoos. Now after almost a year with new sales representation, their wines will be more widely available throughout the province and even in the Yukon! The Wine List (twlcanada.com) will be expanding their sales throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island so that fans of Adega can easily pick up bottles to experience ‘Osoyoos in a bottle’ when the mood strikes. Adega wines are also now available at the two Save-On-Foods locations in Kelowna that now sell wine: Orchard Plaza and Lakeshore Road.

Of course there’s nothing like visiting the Adega gang on the patio on a hot day in the summer. A wide, panoramic view will keep your party company while you relax in the sun. With wine by the glass and foods available from the deli fridge, there are a lot of reasons to stay and experience the Osoyoos sunshine from here. The biggest upcoming event is the annual Customer Appreciation Day that happens every year on Father’s Day in June. Join the gang from 1-4pm for live music, food pairings, and have a great day to enjoy the beginning of summer.

Felicidade $18.00

Named for Alex and Maria’s mother, this white wine is fresh, floral, and fruity for a great price.

Cabernet Franc $26.00

A rich, smooth take on a sometimes-underrated red grape variety, Adega’s Cabernet Franc is bold with big black cherries, peppers, and violets.
