Perfect Pairings at Upper Bench Winery & Creamery

Abbey Westbury · May 4, 2016 ·

Often, great things come in pairs. Wine & Cheese. Springtime & Patio. Gavin & Shana Miller. Located at the gateway to the Naramata Bench, Upper Bench Winery & Creamery offers up all of those and more. Open year round from 10-6, Upper Bench creates delights both ambrosial & refreshing.

The sunny, vineyard-view patio is open 11-5. Unwind & indulge as you savour a glass of one of Gavin’s splendid new releases (perhaps the 91 point 2014 Chardonnay or the first-vintage 2013 Cab Franc?), impeccably paired to Shana’s luscious artisanal cheeses. Amplify your visit with a tutored tasting on the patio (or in the tasting room).

For discerning foodies on the go, the folks in the shop are happy to box up a picnic spread (just the right size for a bike basket. It’s worth mentioning that bike panniers fit many, many bottles…).

A not-to-be-missed combo making an appearance this June, Upper Bench & One Big Table couple their immeasurable talents to create a Father’s Day pop-up brunch café. The result: inspired pairings & Chef Giulio’s tantalizing locally-sourced cuisine!

Can’t make it to the beautiful Okanagan? Never fear! Upper Bench is bringing their dairy delectables to Victoria for another great match-up, the Cheese and Meat Festival (May 21st).

This season, double your delight and add Upper Bench Winery & Creamery to your Okanagan & Pleasure list.
