The Wild West Meets Wine Country At Legend Distillery

Inspired by the folk and folklore of the Okanagan, The Legend Distillery brings a sense of the Wild West to wine country. Handcrafted spirits imbued with local herbs and long tales provide the foundation for unique cocktails and conversation.

Imagine an intoxicating Doctor’s Gin created from locally foraged juniper berries, coriander and citrus combined and infused with an exceptional blend Okanagan botanicals of lavender and elderberry. Or how about a Shadow on the Lake vodka, inspired by legends of the lake monster, hand-crafted from BC’s best wheat with smooth notes of vanilla and caramel.

All grinding, mashing, fermenting, distilling, drinking, dining, and dancing take place on-site at the distillery in an intimate atmosphere with an abundance of ambience.

Legend has it that BC beat prohibition with a little wit and wisdom; the local physician prescribed a jolly pick-me-up for local lads a little under the weather. Now Legend Distillery carries on the tradition of looking after locals and adventurous visitors alike with a menu of artisanal liquor creatively blended into a new line of cocktails.

Now all savvy travelers know that one cannot navigate the wine trails on a liquid lunch, no matter how fine or sublime the liquor, and so with this in mind, the good folk at Legend, Doug and Dawn Lennie, offer a menu of fine food in the Smugglers Smokehouse.

The Smugglers Smokehouse provides an expanded menu, offering daily specials seven days a week, and is open for lunch, dinner and brunch from 11–12 on weekends.
