Things Get Electric At Quinta Ferreira

Roslyne Buchanan · May 6, 2016 ·

As bud break in the vineyards attests spring’s arrival and the wine shop opens daily from 10 am to 6 pm, things get electric along Black Sage Road. Did you know that there is a Tesla Motors charging station at the winery? While your car recharges, check out what’s new and stock up on favourite Quinta Ferreira wines. Inside the magnificent Mediterranean-style setting, peruse the extensive display of awards, taste vintages, purchase wine and the fine art images of resident artist Carmen Tomé.

Drink in the vista from the licensed patio as you sip on a glass of Quinta Ferreira wine with your picnic lunch. Pack your own picnic or purchase a meat and cheese platter designed for sharing. Of course, you don’t have to drive a Tesla to enjoy all of these things. Remember to grab your tickets for the 5th Annual Paella, Wine & Live Music at Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery scheduled from noon to 4 pm, Sunday, July 17. Once again Chef Jeff Van Geest of Miradoro Restaurant joins the team to prepare that famous Portuguese paella over an open flame. (Tickets also available on eventbrite.com) It’s not too early to secure your seats for the 8th Annual Quinta Ferreira Wine Dinner, 6:30 pm, October 1, before it sells out.

To connect with all the electrifying details of Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery, its portfolio of fine wines, wine club, online wine store and events, bookmark quintaferreira.com. The website includes everything you need to stay in touch from buying your favourite wines online and having them shipped to you, to news on upcoming events and recent awards.
