Happy Anniversary Dirty Laundry!

Cassandra Anderton · July 4, 2016 ·

10 years has flown by for the partners that own this unique and fun filled winery. On August 20th these visionaries will be hosting an Anniversary Party on the stunning patio. Ticket holders will enjoy a fabulous wine paired four course dinner created by Chef Paul Cecconi, owner of Brodo. Live entertainment, dancing under the stars, door prizes and a special memento for all guests will ensure this will be a party no one should miss. Be sure to purchase your tickets through the website as they will be sold out before you can say: “What happens at Dirty Laundry stays Hush Hush”.

On the off chance that wine is not your passion Dirty Laundry will be offering four exclusive craft beers on their patio this summer. Whether it be a lager or an ale that excites you DLV will entice you with a flight tasting or an ice cold glass of craft brew to enjoy with lunch.
The outside tasting bar is being renovated to accommodate guests more comfortably and is now complete with a roof for those days when it’s a little too bright, or on the off chance there’s rain. Live entertainment every Saturday and Sunday from 1–4pm just enhances the experience. Don’t forget every Friday commencing July 1st is Lobster Lunch from 12–2pm. Tickets are only $34.95 and can be purchased through the website.
Mason Spink, winemaker at DLV continues to create award-winning wines. Congratulations on being awarded a Gold medal from the Okanagan Wine Festival for his 2014 Say Yes Pinot Gris. This vintage won a Silver medal from the International Wine & Spirit Competition and the IWSC also awarded a Silver medal for Mason’s 2011 Kay Syrah. Set to be released this summer will be DLV’s first ever Viognier that will be available to the public. Stop by any day of the week, summer hours are from 10am – 6pm and tastings are always complimentary.
If you’d like to stay in wine country there is now a second vacation home on Dirty Laundry’s stunning property. Known as the “Parlour House”, guests can now enjoy gorgeous views of the lake, vineyards and trestle whilst staying in beautiful Summerland.

2014 Say Yes Pinot Gris $20.99
Inspired by a true Summerland love story, let her caress your senses with fresh nectarines and a lively citrus finish. Try her with salmon baked in dill cream sauce with a hint of lemon.
