Picture Yourself On The Patio At Quinta Ferreira

Roslyne Buchanan · July 6, 2016 ·

Bring your lunch and stay awhile savouring a glass of Quinta Ferreira wine on the licensed patio at the estate winery set amid the verdant vineyards of the Black Sage Road. Or if you prefer, purchase regional meats, local cheeses, crackers and olives from the onsite deli case inside the tasting room that is open daily from May to October from 10 am to 6 pm. Even more reason to tarry for a time, each Sunday from 1 to 4 pm, from July 3rd to September, enjoy complimentary live music on the patio. Confirmed are: July 3rd – Donna the Vineyard Girl; July 10th – Wild Son Duo; August 7th – Donna the Vineyard Girl; August 15th – the Eisenhauers; August 21st – Ari Neufeld; and September 4th– Mark Irving. To see the full slate of guest artists, check out quintaferreira.com and the Quinta Ferreira Facebook page.

Tickets are going fast for the 5th Annual Paella, Wine & Live Music at Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery scheduled from noon to 4 pm, Sunday, July 17th, that features Chef Jeff Van Geest of Miradoro Restaurant. While walk-ins are welcome July 17th, to ensure that you get to experience that famous Portuguese paella prepared over an open flame, pick up your tickets in advance at the winery or on eventbrite.com. Speaking of avoiding disappointment, tickets are now on sale for the 8th Annual Quinta Ferreira Wine/Lamb Dinner, 6:30 pm, October 1. It’s always a sell-out so buy your tickets soon.
