#TGFP and the West Coast Grill + Oyster Bar

Roslyne Buchanan · July 4, 2016 ·

In summer, we all proclaim #TGFP – Thank God for Patios. Settle in for refreshing beverages and delectable food at ideally situated West Coast Grill + Oyster Bar’s patio overlooking Kelowna’s signature City Park. Inside the downtown Prestige Inn with convenient onsite parking, West Coast Grill + Oyster Bar is the Okanagan’s premiere seafood house with a menu that offers an extensive selection of fresh and sustainable coastal seafood including oysters, prawns, mussels, crab and sushi, along with a variety of salads, flatbreads, burgers and steaks. Consider Fresh Sheet items such as the West Coast Sushi Roll or Dungeness Crab Bruschetta and starters to share like Fish Tacos and Calamari Sticks. Choose a cocktail or sip selections from the great BC wine and local beer list. On draft are Tree Brewing, Bad Tattoo, Firehall Brewing – its Holy Smoke was awarded best stout pairing at the Osoyoos Oyster Festival, or a little further afield, Victoria’s Driftwood or Vancouver’s Steamworks. By the glass and by the bottle wines include such local wineries as Okanagan Crush Pad, Red Rooster, 50th Parallel Estate, Tinhorn Creek, Kettle Valley, Mission Hill and Lake Breeze. Exclusively by the bottle, there’s Mission Hill, Quails’ Gate, Spierhead, Sandhill, Osoyoos Larose, and CedarCreek. For that big night out or special occasion, there’s Sandhill Syrah, or Mission Hill Compendium and Oculus. Happy Hour runs daily, 3 to 6 pm, where it’s buck-a-shuck for ‘superior’ selection oysters, 15% off starters and the Fresh Sheet; and house wine is $5 per glass.
