Terrafina Is Tops

Roslyne Buchanan · September 9, 2016 ·

Still blushing from all its accolades in receiving the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, Terrafina Restaurant at Hester Creek Estate remains the top-rated restaurant for the Oliver area on TripAdvisor and has been awarded Okanagan Life’s Reader’s Choice Best Restaurants for 2016. No wonder it was super busy all summer with patrons from all over the world. New sous-chef Christina Schell has replaced Tatiana Brown who returned home to Australia and new Front-of-House Manager Jerome Thevenet has also settled in. Terrafina’s team is happy and doing an amazing job in working together to present a first-rate dining experience.
As the leaves change colour, you’ll find lots of exciting events this fall. The Tuscan Dinner at Terrafina takes place 6:30 to 9:30 pm, October 8th. For it, Chef Jenna Pillon creates a true Tuscan-inspired four-course meal where just as in Italy, it is family-style dining and all about the food, the people and the music. Available by reservation only for $109 plus taxes and gratuity, phone 250-498-2229 to confirm your seat.
Terrafina participates in the 5th Annual Garlic Festival at Hester Creek Estate Winery, October 1st, and watch for Terrafina’s own Lobster Festival, likely mid-October (date to be confirmed). Stay tuned, too, as the temperatures cool for heartier Italian specials such as cheese fondue, perhaps raclette, and game (venison) season.
Until October 31st, Terrafina remains open daily, 11:30 am to 9 pm. To preview the Tuscan and European influenced menus, make reservations or learn about hosting intimate private functions, visit terrafinarestaurant.com. Enhance your group events and corporate occasions such as customer appreciation and/or Christmas parties by planning now to host them in this beautiful restaurant.
