The View Winery’s Winning Trifecta

Deanna Rainey · May 8, 2017 ·

The View Winery is celebrating the summer wine tasting season with the release of their exclusive Pinotage Trifecta and a line up of fun, unique events.
The Pinotage Trifecta features White Pinotage, Pinotage Reserve and Pinotage Rosé . The only one of its kind in North America, White Pinotage 2016 is a Blanc de Noir, a white wine made from their estate grown red Pinotage grapes. White Pinotage boasts a beautiful rose gold hue and notes of white stone fruits, berry and a subtle herbaceousness. Lingering citrus and minerality round out an elegant, dry finish.
Pinotage Reserve is The View’s signature red. It has vibrant aromas and flavours of dark cherry, berry and spice.  And finally, the Pinotage Rosé, released in early May, is also the only one of its kind in North America. This delicate pink rosé boasts intense strawberry aromatics, followed by flavours of pink grapefruit and tart cranberry, with a crisp, dry finish.
Take a trip to The View to taste these unique wines and experience their historic fifth generation setting.  Winemaker Wednesday runs every Wednesday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and provides a great opportunity to meet The View’s winemakers. Bring your mom to “Moms are Fab” May 13th and 14th and enjoy a casual lunch from The Surf Side California Food Truck in The View’s Packinghouse picnic area 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Moms will receive free tastings and a special gift.
For the disco lovers out there, be sure to attend ABBA ‘Nother Glass for an ABBA inspired day of fabulous wines and great 70’s tunes, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, May 27th. The Surf Side Food Truck will be serving up groovy bites that day too.
And last but not least, kick off your summer with The View’s annual Bling Fling featuring live music, newly released wines and delicious appetizers 7:30pm to 10:30pm, June 24th. www.theviewwinery.com
