Kick off your heels at a Lang Vineyard Wedding

Elaine Davidson · July 12, 2017 ·

“Getting married in the Okanagan is all about enjoying a relaxed vibe where you can kick off your heels and trade them for flip flops,” says Lang Vineyard’s exclusive wedding planners, Vines and Vows’ Tammi Foster.
Tammi says there is something about the stunning lake, mountains and vineyard scenery at Lang on the Naramata Bench that turns potential Bridezillas into Bridechillas. The behind-the-scenes planning by Tammi and her partner Jillian Buchanan play a big part in ensuring the bride and groom enjoy their special day with friends and family.
Living and working full time in the area has allowed the Vines and Vows team to create personal relationships with GM Mike Lang and his team and vendors like caterers, florists, entertainers and hairdressers. “We take care of everything so the couple can truly enjoy their ceremony and reception.
“There is room for error when you plan a birthday party,” says Tammi. “There will always be another one next year. There is big pressure on us to nail it every time when we plan weddings. I love it. I’m an adrenalin junky and I get great satisfaction from pleasing the bride and groom and being a part of their special day.”
Tammi says a Lang Vineyard wedding can range from a sit down dinner to meet any foodie’s expectations to a more informal and on-trend cocktail wedding. “Guests enjoy drinks and high-end canapés while mingling or standing around high-top tables and soaking in the views.”
Lang Vineyard boasts some of the oldest vines on the Naramata Bench and their award-winning wines have a loyal and ever-growing following. Vines and Vows plan dozens of wedding every year all over the Okanagan.
