You Had Me At Tinhorn Creek

Roslyne Buchanan · July 12, 2017 ·

If you’ve flirted with joining a wine club, get in on the fun as a member at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards. For starters, VIP treatment abounds when you join the Crush Club – perhaps the Okanagan’s most generous wine club. Gain “behind the velvet rope” access to Tinhorn Creek’s limited release and library wines, early access to summer concerts and club only pre-concert receptions, recipes with pairing suggestions from the acclaimed Miradoro Restaurant, and members only events and parties at the winery and in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
Instead of hearing about the great line up after they’ve sold out for the Canadian Concert Series each summer, you’ll be bumped to the front of the purchasing line. Crush Club members get the early scoop about performers and events with first dibs on securing tickets. Dine at onsite Miradoro Restaurant, five-time Vancouver Magazine gold award winner for Best Winery/Vineyard Dining, and receive 10% off (food only) for up to six people. When available, Crush Club members get preferential seating. To qualify for your Miradoro privileges, members must make reservations and advise when booking that you are part of the Crush Club (the Miradoro discount does not apply to Communal Long Table dinners or special events).
The May 13 Spring Exclusive Party saw over 200 club members come to the winery to enjoy paella from four different chefs, including Chef Jeff from Miradoro paired with a newly released Tinhorn Creek wine along with Flamenco dancers to complete the theme. This fall over 500 members will gather for the annual Fall Pickup Party, September 30, with oldies rock ‘n roll band Crosstown Bus and a pig roast by Chef Jeff from Miradoro. Beyond the fun, there are practical benefits. Your Crush Club discount is 15%, and it applies to all Tinhorn Creek wines plus all merchandise. Plus, participating partners of Tinhorn Creek offer Crush Club members special perks and discounts.
Reaping such benefits is as easy as receiving 18 bottles minimum a year, and who can’t manage to get through just over a bottle of wine a month? If you need a hand or prefer to share, why not split a membership with your neighbour or BFF? Membership also makes a great gift for those hard-to-buy-for wine loving friends or family.
Other than the 18-bottle commitment, membership is free and you can choose the one that’s right for you: Cellar Select Mixed, Cellar Select Red, or Cellar Select White. Tinhorn Creek’s winemaker chooses the selections from new releases or small case lot wines. Or consider the limited membership, Oldfield Reserve Select Club, which is unique because you can fully customize your case within the Oldfield Series. For full details and benefits see www.tinhorn.com/club
Tinhorn Creek also offers 46Brix memberships, like Amazon Prime but for wine lovers. It’s available to non-club members, too. For details go to:
