Sandy Beach Lodge finds the Sweet Spot Between Rustic And Luxurious

Elaine Davidson · December 6, 2017 ·

Picture a magical place, complete with swimming, tennis and barbecues. Sandy Beach Lodge & Resort is a destination for family, friends and dreams of a simple life. Think of the lazy dip of a canoe paddle on the clearest of lakes, watching the sun set with a glass of wine for company until a bright carpet of stars appear and the silence of the night settles in.
This bewitching place is located in the heart of British Columbia’s wine country. Sandy Beach Lodge has been welcoming visitors looking for a Canadian lake getaway since the 1940s. A restored, lakefront resort, Sandy Beach features six charming B&B guestrooms with screened in verandahs, locally sourced breakfast fare and resort grounds with 13 well appointed and fully equipped cottages. The main lodge offers an indoor venue that can host an intimate group of up to 40 guests, or an outdoor lakeside event for up to 75.
Guests make the most of the sandy beach namesake, a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, tennis courts, table tennis, canoes, rowboats and lawn games interrupted only by a visit from the local ice cream truck.
Steeped in Naramata history, Sandy Beach Lodge & Resort is heading into a responsible future with the addition of two Tesla charging stations. Rustic luxury near cycling on the Kettle Valley Railway trails, wine touring and local cuisine, this resort is the perfect spot to un-plug from life and reconnect with those important to you in a beautiful, natural setting.
