Oliver Twist Estate Winery – Enjoy the Good Old Days

Jodi Quibell · February 27, 2018 ·

Enjoy at trip back to the good old days at Oliver Twist Estate Winery.

A 1970s Airstream food truck is parked right outside. Throughout the tasting room, you’ll find retro luggage, nifty art work and other vintage items. You may even hear your favourite ‘50s or ‘60s songs playing in the background.

Plan a travel adventure on March 10, when the entertaining staff at Oliver Twist welcomes everyone to their Customer Appreciation Day. Gina Harfman, a fourth generation Osoyoos resident, is as local as it gets. During this Customer Appreciation Day, there will be wine specials, delicious snacks and lots of fun!

As part of Spring Wine Fest, on May 12, Oliver Twist hosts a hands-on cheese making and wine pairing workshop. Participants will learn how to make and take home the cheese, and discover recipes that pair with Oliver Twist wines. Enjoy a glass and appies, while listening to the stories from a modern-day milkmaid. Limited spots are available, so book now. Tickets can be purchased at the winery or by calling 250-485-0227.

At both the Customer Appreciation Day and the Cheese Making Workshop, make sure you get your bottle of 2017 Pinot Gris before it sells out. This cool, crisp wine with notes of apple and pear will be a welcome flavour during the upcoming summer months. If a nice Rose is more to your liking, you’ll love the 2017 Pink Cadillac. You’ll notice flavours of real strawberry and rhubarb dancing across your palate, along with major tropical flavours like passionfruit and guava. Not to be missed!
