Create Your Celebrations at Kismet Estate Winery

Roslyne Buchanan · July 1, 2022 ·

default

Take control of your special celebrations at Kismet Estate Winery’s dreamy vineyard venue. Imagine your wedding or special event celebrated in the photogenic ambience of lush vineyards that open onto Mirror Lake’s serenity.

Kismet’s venue has a capacity of up to 200 and provides a landscape you can use as a canvas to create your memorable occasion. Bring in your favourite event coordinator or plan it yourself.

While Kismet only offers the space, and not event coordination, you can organize catering from their onsite Masala Bistro restaurant. Create an Indian-focused feast with some Western cuisine options. Or, if you prefer, select another catering choice.

Corresponding Immersive Tasting Package

Couples are loving the option of having Kismet put together tasting packages, where guests are entertained in an immersive tasting experience that can be staged as a pre- or post-reception.

For example, after your ceremony, when you are having photography done, your guests can be led through a tasting of Kismet wines and tours of the vineyard and winemaking facility. The tasting package makes your event memorable to your guests while facilitating the opportunity to transform your ceremonial set-up to a long-table celebratory gathering.

Holi Festival Celebrates Colours of Life

Kismet is excited to announce the return of such signature events as the Holi Festival, held in July. This fun and lively affair celebrates the colours of life and is a nod to the passing of the seasons. Guests arrive in white and are prepared to leave with their attire brimming with a kaleidoscope of vivid shades. Tickets include refreshments, live music, and the countdown to a joyful frolic when attendees throw packages of coloured powder and water at each other.

For this festival and other special events, Wine Club membership offers benefits such as early notification and discounts, plus access to restricted release wines. Why not explore the two flexible Wine Club options? The Connection Club and the Devotion Club feature distinct benefits based on your preferences.

Visit Kismet’s Tasting Room and Masala Bistro

Kismet’s iconic wines are perennial award-winners. The Dhaliwal brothers’ fruit had previously won awards for other South Okanagan wineries, and after 20 years of growing the highest-quality grapes to sell to others, they launched their own winery with Kismet.

First-come, first-served protocols are in effect at Kismet’s Tasting Room, although club members and groups can be accommodated with advance bookings.

Make time for their Masala Bistro, which remains popular for its exotic Indian-focused flavours paired with Kismet wine and beautiful Black Sage Bench views. Visit kismetestatewinery.com for more details on the venue, wine releases, the Tasting Room, and the Masala Bistro.
