“Rare Gems” Hit the Market on the Fraser Valley Wine Trail

Admin · March 1, 2019 ·

Written by: Lesley Buxton

The Fraser Valley is emerging as British Columbia’s newest wine region and partners Carolyn Glazier and Darci Steffins of Capulet Properties | Angell Hasman & Associates believe the time is now for savvy industry investors to establish a Fraser Valley operation.

“The Fraser Valley could be the next Napa Valley of 50 years ago, the Okanagan of 20 years ago,” Darci says. “Our local Wine Tasting Trail is growing more and more each year. Timing is everything to secure your place on it.”

This new wine region, which covers Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Delta, Langley and Aldergrove, is producing beautifully handcrafted wines. Carolyn and Darci know the region well. It’s where they’ve raised their families, lived, worked and entertained. It’s the community they’ve lovingly served for over 25 years. They understand the lifestyle, and this gives them an edge and an authority when it comes to matching investors with the right luxury estate.

The biggest advantage this wine destination boasts is its proximity to the world-class city of Vancouver and the Pacific Rim markets. It’s only a 45-minute drive to downtown and even faster by helicopter — only 13-minutes. This dynamic duo are well-equipped to lead investors in this direction. With their concierge service, they oversee every aspect of their clients’ journeys, while setting up key alliances with many industry experts.

Another option is the opportunity of a second holding in the Okanagan. A prime example of this is Langley’s Township 7 Winery, which now has a winery on the Naramata Bench. These sorts of ventures give winery owners the opportunity to expand market share and cultivate important alliances, along both the Okanagan and Langley Wine Tasting Trails. The benefit of close proximity to the affluent metropolitan market of Vancouver and the flexibility to blend grape varieties in each region makes business sense.

Villa Di Fonti

Envision living here. The Villa Di Fonti is an award-winning estate set on 72 pristine acres, designed as an expression of the owners’ love for Tuscany and its old-world charm. Each part of this creation was carefully planned to mimic Tuscany’s splendour — the rolling landscapes, the dramatic architecture and the enduring and beautiful craftsmanship. The owners were even married onsite near the 10-acre vineyard. It’s listed at $25M.

Imagine what a magnificent winery it would make. Amenities include: two lakes with white sand beaches, helipad, amphitheatre perfect for musical presentations, infinity pool, Koi-pond, putting green, 50-plus parking spaces, chef’s kitchen, caterer’s prep kitchen and alfresco dining. It’s located just minutes from White Rock, Fort Langley Village, equestrian parks,
golf, excellent schools and
an airport.

White House West

This magnificent country estate has just been added to Capulet’s collection of fine properties, and it’s listed at $15.68M. This is an incredible opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind, 12,000-square-foot majestic manor set on 47.35 acres of serene, rolling pastures and soaring mountain views. It’s been used as a Hollywood movie location and owned by champions of industry.

“White House West” is looking for its new “First Lady” and “Gentleman” with its stunning indoor pool, tennis court, riding arena and trails. A fantastic location for a showpiece vineyard operation with established wineries located nearby.

Villa Bellavita

Villa Bellavita is an architectural masterpiece cloistered in prestigious High Point Estates: a gated, two-acre 13,289-square-foot entertainment mecca for key wine buyers. Vaulted ceilings welcome guests through double doors into a cathedral entrance; a European-inspired portico leads into a private, courtyard.

Amenities abound, like the chef’s dream kitchen, the social wine room and spacious media room. Villa Bellavita offers resort-style living with over 5,000 square feet of outstanding outdoor living, sports court, hydro spa and a private, first-class equestrian stable with direct access to miles of pristine trails in BC’s horse capital. All this can be yours for $7.288M.

Privacy and Discretion

Carolyn and Darci are renowned for their welcoming and discreet approach. Privacy is always assured. They’re dedicated to offering top-quality services to their private client group, including customized helicopter commuter packages, luxury chauffeur service, bespoke tailoring, dining, and specialty events.

Join the partners on exclusive helicopter wine district viewings for serious buyers and UHNW investors and discover a perfect location in the Fraser Valley.
