Quinta Ferreira: Quenches Cravings

Roslyne Buchanan · June 28, 2018 ·

The first stop on Black Sage Road as you enter Oliver, the Wine Capital of Canada, is Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery. Here, you can quench your cravings for a BC wine country experience. You’ll feel part of the family whether attending one of Quinta Ferreira’s special events or browsing the tasting room. Pack a picnic for the patio or buy selections from the on-site picnic case to make a lunch. Add a bottle of wine to share and it’s a party!

Food and Music

Reserve your place at the ever-popular Paella event, 11:30 am to 3 pm, July 29, and see why more than 250 people attend annually. With a backdrop of vineyards and live music by Rebel Luv, enjoy a glass of Quinta Ferreira wine along with a delectable plate of paella cooked in the open air. Tickets ($25) are available at www.quintaferreira.com

Speaking of music on the patio, an exciting lineup of entertainers returns for the free Sunday Concert Series, held from 1 to 4 pm, July 1 to September 3. Save the dates for Kyle Anderson, July 1; Timbre Wolves, July 8; Johnny V, July 15; Rick Poppa Dawg, July 22; Rebel Luv, July 29; Jazz Trio, August 5; Aaron Loewen, August 12; Donna Armstrong, August 19; and Ari Neufeld, August 26.

Book now for the fall Winemakers Dinner, 6 pm, September 29, Harvest Quinta Ferreira-style! A four-course, wine-paired dinner will be prepared by Chef Adam Relvas this year. Always sold out early, tickets are $135 all inclusive.
